1.Tellerette ring |
TELLERETTE We have produced and sold successfully plastic packing TELLERETTE as used for gas scrubbing for many years.
As this packing has excellent features of mass and heat transfer efficiency for gas absorption, air conditioning, etc., tellerette ring has been used as packing of high corrosion resistance and low pressure drop with extensive application for Gas Absorber, Cooling Tower, Deaerator, Reactor and other gas-liquid contact systems.
Various data on equilibrium, design and materials based on a long experience in using the packing are available on request. |

2. Performance |
|
"TELLERETTE" originated from spiral shape of packing made of polyethylene under the licence from Dr. Teller in the 1960s. Since then, we have developed and improved the production method by ourselves and following kinds are available at present: |

3. Characteristics |
|
|
1) This form of packing is designed not to provide downward liquid flow with dead spots but large effective surface
1) area per unit packing volume.
2) Excellent liquid distribution and uniformity are obtained, because of a large number of branching and junction, in
2) addition to curve structure of the packing.
3) Reduction in pressure drop attained by filament-shape with large void space enables fans or blowers to require
3) less electrical power (energy saving).
4) Packing made of synthetic resin means good chemical corrosion resistance and increased structural strength.
5) Light weight means easy handling to fill in and out. |
